Main Programs
KEC Group actively strives for local and national development through fostering of scientific human resources.
Hyo Literature Festival
'Hyo' Literature Festival seeks to teach primary school students whose personalities are
forming to teach them the values of 'Hyo.' To empathize with families, schools, and local societies, the festival is held annually with Gumi-city and Gumi District Office of Education (creative writing, art, and calligraphy)
Scholarship Program
We select science and engineering students from top domestic universities to systematically and continuously support them to bring them into the network of future KEC Biz. Moreover, we support academic-industry affiliation in the fields of science and engineering as well as with local universities to fulfill our duties as a corporation and to foster the field of science and engineering.
Science Explorers
To implant interest and intrigue within students of primary, middle and high schools of Gumi city to spread scientific cultures and to contribute to the local society, we are proceeding with the program, Scientific Explorers.
Scientific Creativity Competition
We provide educational opportunities to local students with their dreams in science to provide them with experiences in creative problem-solving. To promote individual potential, we host KEC Scientific Creativity Competition (every fall) and support Gumi Science Center's Saturday Science Camp activities.

Love for the Local Program :
Love for the Haepyeong region and support Gumi's development
We support senior citizens' festivals for the elders of Haepyeong-myeon to express the value of 'Hyo,' as well as various cultural and art performances and artistic programs to contribute to the traditional culture of Gumi.
